Drawn wire

The wires are drawn  from the rods produced within the company and are used mainly in the electrical and food industry as well as in other industries.

Unalloyed and alloyed wires for general purposes

The wires for general purposes are used in the building industry, for producing fences and as raw material for production of screws, rivets and rods.

 

Chemical composition: According to EN 573-3:

  • EN AW-1050A [Al 99,5]
  • EN AW-1070A [Al 99,7]
  • EN AW-5005 [AlMg1]
  • EN AW-5050 [AlMg1.5]
  • EN AW-5051 [AlMg2]
  • EN AW-5052 [AlMg2.5]
  • EN AW-5754 [AlMg3]
  • EN AW-5154 [AlMg3.5]
  • EN AW-6060 [AlMgSi]
  • EN AW-6063 [AlMg0,7Si]
  • EN AW-6101 [AlMgSi]
Diameter: Ø between 0.7 – 8.0 mm.
Tolerance: According to EN 1301-3 or according to customer requirements.
Mechanical properties: According to EN 1301-2 (unalloyed):

  • soft (O or W6) temper
  • semi hard (H14 or F10) temper
  • hard (H18 or F14) temper
According to EN 1301-2 (alloyed):

  • temper as drawn (Hxx)
  • solution heat treated-drawn (T3)
  • artificially aged temper (T8)
Packing: In big (100 – 1000 kg) coils, on cardboard core, conical or straight winding:

  • inside Ø: 400, 600 or 700 mm
  • height: approx. 560 mm or 720 mm
  • outside Ø: approx. 500-1150 mm
In cardboard octabin, (cca. 1000 kg):

  • inside: 1050 x 1050 mm
  • height: 1560 mm
In customers basket reel
In 20-60 kg loosely wound coils (Ø 2.0-5.0 mm only):

  • inside Ø: approx. 600 mm
  • height: approx. 200 mm
  • outside Ø: 770 mm
In 20-50 kg tightly wound coils:

  • inside Ø: 400 mm
  • width: 100-150 mm
  • outside Ø: 500-750 mm
In 10-20 kg loosely wound coils (diameters 0.7 – 2.5 mm only):

  • inside Ø: 170 mm
  • width: 260 mm
  • outside Ø: approx. 300 mm
In 200-300 kg loosely wound coils with support paper core Ø 2.0-4.5 mm only

 

All technical delivery conditions are agreed at the time of concluding the contract.
